thames path

The path follows the banks of the river for 294 kilometres / 184 miles from the source near Kemble in Gloucestershire to the flood barrier at Woolwich in South East London. It is a long distance walking route, most of it cannot be cycled. The Trail passes through water meadows, historic towns, the University City of Oxford, lovely villages, Hampton Court and through the heart of London past Tower Bridge.
