edelrid kiro ti titanium gas stove review
We have fallen in love with this stove! Just holding it in the hand feels nice! The way in which it opens out is great, simple engineering.
This is what Edelrid say...
72g
Performance 3kW Consumption 80-240 g/h
Cooking time 3 min/litre

This is what we think...
The only problem we have had with the stove is the middle pan rest has become slightly stiff but this does not detract from how very good this stove is!
The stove is designed for lightweight travel so do not expect to be able to cook in bulk. The pan rest extends to a diameter of approximately 12cm for use with small to medium size pans and pans with heat exchangers.
The rectangular wire value knob is very positive and neatly folds under the rest of the cooker when packed.
You may have to adjust the valve slightly in order for it to fold correctly.
This could mean that the valve is open when next connected to the gas canister.
When we put it to the test against a Jetboil Sumo it out performed in the boil test by just under one whole minute!
Although it does not have its own flame ignition it was very easy to light.
We used the Edelrid Outdoor Gas 230 cansiter in our test. This has a mixture of 30% Propane | 30% i-Butane | 40% i-Butane.
The pack size within its little transport bag is approximately 8cm x 5.5cm x 3.5cm allowing us to place it easily and conveniently into the top pocket of our rucksack.
We recommend the Edelrid Kiro TI stove.
