Conclusion so far

what's good about Anatom q3 boots

The boot has performed extremely well under all circumstances so far.

The wide entry for the foot allows unrestricted access for getting them on or off

Boot provides good ankle support and protection although it is wide at the top and the tongue seams too large.

Very comfortable to wear over both short and long distances

Not to heavy

Totally waterproof

what's bad about Anatom q3 boots

Laces are too short unable to tie a double bow

Being so wide at the top it would give access to a lot of water if submerged

The white tongue very quickly becomes en-grained with mud and does not return to the original colour after cleaning. Not a good colour to choose for the tongue in our opinion!

The Superfeet insoles act very strangely when you first use them as they tend to pick up your heel so that you always feel that you are about to step forwards, even when standing still. They are comfortable and do seam to remove the impact on the heal especially on longer walks.
