review of Keen.CNX Cascade sandals

size UK 10 US 11 EU 44.5 approx 300g per sandal approx 300g per sandal Brown / True Red

worn continuously over 15 days

Keen CNX side profile Keen CNX top shot

We decided that a great test for these sandals would be to wear them on a drive all the way from North Yorkshire UK to Emilia Romagna in Northern Italy and back via Belgium, Luxembourg, France and Switzerland.

Not only did we do the drive but we also walked sections of the GR5 Col du Calvaire to Col de la Schlucht in Vosges on the way there and on the way back to try them out on the ground.

Keen CNX tread

Keen CNX anti odor anatomic footbed

Keen CNX lace fasteners

First impression was a very comfortable fit even though we didn't have any cushioning from socks and there was no chaffing of the skin even though they give tight assuring support to the foot.

Conditions in the Vosges was heavy showers and slippery rock but the sandal remained very sure footed.

The lace lock remained solid throughout the test period although the left hand lace clip did come loose a couple of times.

The anti-odur sole after 4 weeks of wearing is still odour less!

The dual pull straps work really well when putting the sandals on and off.

So first impressions, great fitting sandal, great support and very light on the foot we like the Keen Cascade.CNX sandals
