From Douarnenez in Finistère the route heads north along the coast to Pentrez before turning inland to St Nic. From here you enter the Parc Natural Régional d'Armorique and the Forêt Communale d'Arol. The small hamlets of Lescoat, Coat Carrec and Kerfranc are visited before crossing the l'Aulne Fleuve on the Pont de Térénez to Kergadalen and le Faou. There is a Gîte d'étape on route at Kervézennec between Kergadalen and le Faou.
