Ordnance Survey Explorer 102 Land's End Penzance and St Ives

The route stretches from Lelant follows the South West Coastal Path towards St Ives before turning inland at the western end of Carbis Bay. If you wish to start in St Ives rather than Lelant then its a case of following the South West Coastal Path southwards until you reach the same point.

From Ludgvan there is a choice of routes...

the short route goes via Ludgvan Leaze and Bog Farm before joining the road and South West Coastal Path along the front into Marazion.

or the long route via Tregarthen, Gulval and the Heliport on the outshirts of Penzance before turning left along the South West Coastal Path into Marazion.

Total distance for the short route from Lelant to Marazion 19.5km / 12 miles and 20.5km / 12.5 miles for the long route.

Depending upon tide times, the time of year or weather conditions you may choose to walk or take a ferry across across to the finish on St Michael’s Mount.
