Lady Anne Clifford born 1590 at Skipton Castle died Brougham Castle 1676

The route follows in her footsteps as she travelled around her estate and takes in Pendragon Castle, Brough Castle and Brougham Castle as well as Wharfedale and Wensleydale. There is a high level section at Abbotside Fells to the Eden Valley at Mallerstang.
