A suprisingly varied walk for a route around a small island with sandstone and chalk cliffs, desserted bays, marshland and seaside resorts. The start and finish is offically Cowes but you could start anywhere as long as you end up back there! Totland's a great place! Apart from a detour around the Queen's estate at Osbourne House and another around a "Danager Area" between Newtown and Thorness Bay the route stays close to the coast.
