A 26 mile circular walk based on the historic Warwickshire towns of Henley-in-Arden and Alcester, weaving its way through the delightful Warwickshire countryside and Forest of Arden.
The Arden Way is waymarked with a simple circle of leaves and the name in green on white, and is shown on the OS Explorer maps 205 & 220.
Created by the Heart of England Way Association, and recognised by Warwickshire County Council, the Arden Way takes walkers through some of the finest landscape in the county. Using field paths, tracks lanes and woodland paths as it gently sweeps though the typically rolling Warwickshire countryside. Places of note along the Arden Way include the villages of Ullenhall, Kinwarton, Haselor and Aston Cantlow, as well as Coughton Court (NT property).
A volunteer warden service under the auspices of the Heart of England Way Association keeps an eye on the route.
Shares part of its route with the Heart of England Way. The walk is managed and maintained voluntarily by the Heart of England Way Association who have kindly supplied the information for this page.
