you
cross the A625 heading right to a footpath between two cottages. The path takes
you through urban Hope past the school and out through a series of small elongated
fields to pass under the cement works railway line.
Through a few more fields and the walk instead of taking a direct route to Lose Hill turns left to Spring House Farm, then right to Losehill Farm before climbing up to Lose Hill (476m).
The next stage is very easy to navigate. Just following the ridge past Back Tor, along Barker Bank, take in the view at Hollins Cross and up to Mam Tor Fort before descending to the road and rushing back up Rushup Edge.

Follow the edge, taking care of paragliders!, past Lord's Seat and down to a footpath sign and wall. Straight on takes you down to the main road. Turn right keeps you on the "Skyline".
Following a bearing of approx 340° takes you along a dotted path to Brown Knoll trig point (569m). Just beyond is a wall and fence. Turn right and follow to reach the top of Jacobs Ladder and the Pennine Way.

Head north on the Pennine Way for a brief distance past Swin's back to the left and over a couple of fords before taking a path off to the right up to Noe Stool, Pym Chair and Crowden Tower.
Now that you're on the rim of Kinder and the Edale Valley you say there all the way round to Druids Stones passing the top of Grinds Brook, Hartshorn, nether Tor and Ringing Roger.
From Druids Stones a path takes you over Crookstone Out Moor before turning right down onto Crookstone Hill. Head for the opening in the wall on Crookstone Hill and join the track leading from it for a short while before heading off to the left to an access point gate marked on the map.
From here follow the Roman Road south south east for a short while before taking a left fork up to Winn Hill. head for the summit (462m) and take in the view.
Double back and take path down to Twitchill Farm, go through the farmyard and utilise farm track going under the railway line and up to the main road. Turn left and head back into Hope along the road.
